_{In honor of my dog. There is a weird thing, Aladdin? My dog? Well, story time. My dog, may she rest in peace, she loved Aladdin. She knew when it played, she knew the songs. When we first moved out here to Dekalb from Chicago, we moved into the basement of David’s parents house and once in a while we had to leave, the basement was really spacious but Ebony wasn’t used to the change, so she’d come up the stairs and cry and whine when we weren’t home. So my mother in law would put on a movie to calm her down. But Ebony would reject lots of movies and come back and whine. So David’s mom put on Aladdin because it was the movie I watched a lot when I was home. And Ebony would sit there and watch it and wouldn’t whine, and the when the movie was over, she’d come back up the stairs and whine some more and David’s mom would have to repeat the process until we came home from work/school/etc. I then changed my ringtone to “A Whole New World” and when people called me, I’d see Ebony get up and come by be cuz she heard the song. And I would sing the song, she’d come by me. She just loved Aladdin, probably because it reminded her of me and my obsession for Aladdin. So in honor of my dog, I made this for you, Ebony.
